Some streets in Westgate require residential parking permits through the City of Calgary’s Residential Parking Permit Program. Learn more about the process for applying for a parking permit, renewing a parking permit or requesting a visitor parking pass.

The City of Calgary’s residential street cleaning runs Monday to Friday 8am-4pm from Mid-April through June. You can sign up to receive notifications on the dates for your address, or watch for signs in the neighbourhood.

On cleaning days, street parking will be restricted. Failure to follow parking restrictions may result in a parking fines or your car being towed.

Street light outages can be reported using the City of Calgary’s online Street Light Outage map application.

Repairs will typically be completed within 30 days.

Issues with street light poles can be reported through 311.

Traffic concerns and requests can be made through the Calgary Police Service’s Traffic Service Request website.

The City of Calgary has a Development Map (DMap) that can be used to look up permit applications by permit number, neighbourhood or address.
